Cindy G. with Judy Robertson fabrics. (To put in an endorsement for Judy, she has a club that sends you one yard of her beautiful and special hand dyed fabric every month, and to which Cindy belongs) We did our QA Guild Raffle quilt with Judy's fabric this year. I was happy to meet such a talented and famous person in our neighborhood. I guess the art quilters have known her for years. Cindy did a great job of piecing and showing off this fabric.
An anonymous comment from a friend: Working on a new project is like having a new love relationship. I put my heart and soul into it, most waking moments and even a few dreams. When the the project is done, the relationship is over and it's time to move on to the next one. That view helps me to keep my stash of completed projects in my house down to a manageable level.
ReplyDeleteEach fabric is precious when I buy it. And when I get around to cleaning out my stash I find myself wondering why I ever bought some of them.
Cindy, This is great! Very dimensional, yet in a subtle way.
ReplyDeleteBuffy, I like your comment. Something to ponder.
How beautiful Buffy!!!
ReplyDeleteCindy, Love this quilt's mood! It is like ripples in a lake surrounded by greenery and mountains!
