Dianne's Four & Twenty Blackbirds Baked in Pie

She started with blackbird fabric, then drafted the larger birds and other elements from that.

    Good eyes Sujata. Dianne is great with the whimsical details. Shoes on the line has a sinister meaning here, but back in Ozarks/Arkansas we had shoe trees, and sort of folk art group assemblage. Now that would be a good idea for a quilt.
