I was only gone for three weeks but it seems like I missed out a lot! You all have been very busy! It has been a treat to come back to these gorgeous quilts! This is what I saw one morning looking out from my brother's home!
How nice to have you back! I've missed you! I hope you had a good trip and visit with your family. Your photo reminds me of the vests that Freddy Moran wears. They're made from hand-quilted silk quilts from Pakistan.
Thank you,Nifty! It is nice to be back. I had a wonderful visit and somehow finding it hard to get back in to things. My dad's uncles used to wear vests like you mentioned. They were all made from very fine silks and always hand quilted!
