I was going to machine quilt this one but changed my mind..
Picked it up couple of weeks ago to keep me warm in the evening while 'watching' TV. It is 1/3rd way finished already. I am loving it.
Queen size quilt made with Goodwill dresses, skirts, pants and shirts.
Oh, I love it, too !
ReplyDeleteThe pattern and the colors just bring a smile to my face :)
Have a happy weekend.

Красочно!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt!
ReplyDeleteI just ordered your book through my Hubby's company's rewards program for making and exceeding his target sales. Imagine an Engineering company giving a quilt book as a reward for sales! LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so glad! It is perfect. We are also engineers in a way. We design and construct just like them. Only in a colorful way!
DeleteThis is gorgeous! My daughters and I will be gold mining at Goodwill very soon - thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteVerna, I found out that spring is the best time for spring/summer clothes at the Goodwill store. I used up most of all I had bought on this quilt. It was fun to go on a hunt.
DeleteLove this quilt! The painterly effect is stunning. So glad you're hand quilting it.
ReplyDeleteI am glad too! I couldn't settle for the alternative.
DeleteYUMMY!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it, the quilting will add such a lovely texture to this piece. I'm doing a presentation on hand quilting tonight to a guild in Bellingham, WA. It's so great to continue to see such amazing work, Love your book, fabulous eye candy and great inspiration.
