Pam: Antique String Quilt

































Pam found this "mother-of-all" string quilts in rural Eastern Washington.  IT IS HAND-PIECED!!  We did not find any foundation fabric.

    AMAZING! hand pieced wow. that looks like a fun quilt to make with our scraps though.
    surprised its so neutral looking , does it look like old clothing?

    Is there any evidence it was sewn on paper? it's lovely, no matter how it was made.
