Hi Rebels and friends,
I've been playing with my scrap bin, cutting 5-sided pieces for centers (thanks to Victoria, Roberta and Diane), and pulling scraps randomly. These are 12" blocks. I love crazy quilts, and am thinking of making a bed-size one.
Am I getting too crazy here? Do I need more solids or contrast or anything? I probably won't do flowers for all the centers. That could get too sweet, but it sure is tempting.
What do you think? Can I trust the scrap bin? Or should I edit a bit?
Please be honest. These are only trial blocks, and I had my fun making them.

I am wondering about the same question and decided to take a break. I am leaning towards adding solids. I already have some solids in the patches from my recent project. I guess having them side by side should give us both some visual and help us decide.
The bigger it gets...the better you will like it and it will look great!

Resist the urge to over-think it. I agree with the comments above: you'll like it better as it gets bigger, and trust the scraps. You are on a roll, that's for sure. I love it.
